Uchiko Plano

I made portraits throughout the restaurant, using the dining room and kitchen to place him within the character of the space.

The series also includes atmospheric photographs of the restaurant’s interior and images of Perico lighting the wood-fire hearth used for several dishes. Together, the photographs connect portraiture, food and restaurant design while giving the story a sense of how Uchiko feels in use.
