I first studied photography in a high school darkroom and was immediately captivated by the process, especially the anticipation of watching an image appear in the developer.

At Texas A&M, I found my way into photojournalism and photographed hundreds of assignments for the university newspaper, one of the last collegiate papers still printing on campus. After graduation, I continued working for publications throughout Dallas–Fort Worth. I also began taking on assignments for individuals and brands, working across different areas of photography until my own style and interests came into focus.

Today, my work centers on interiors, architecture and people. Both of my parents are architects, so I grew up with an awareness of design and an appreciation for the choices that shape a space. That influence carried into my photography and taught me to pay attention to light, material, proportion and how a place feels. My years in photojournalism taught me how to observe closely, adapt quickly and recognize the moments that make an image feel alive.

 

I continue to study photography and its techniques, but I think my greatest strength is simply noticing. I watch light constantly. I pay attention to how people move through a space, what matters to them and what makes each project distinctive.My process is intentional and collaborative. I want the photographs to feel considered, but I also want making them to feel good. I take time to understand what each client needs, how the images will be used and what they should communicate. The goal is to make work that feels specific to the people and places in front of me, and to enjoy the process of making it together.
