Tanner Garza is a professional photographer, videographer and sUAV pilot based out of Dallas Texas. After discovering his love for photography in the darkroom of his high school,
Tanner attended Texas A&M University where he began studying for a degree in communications and journalism, and working for the school newspaper. After a semester as a photographer at the newspaper, Tanner became the Chief of Photography, where he not only managed the other photographers at the paper, but also photographed an enormous range of assignments, from important people visiting campus to the Heisman ceremony in New York City.
Now, back in Dallas, Tanner works as freelance photographer and aerial videographer for several newspapers as well as various architecture and marketing firms around the area. He also works as a videographer for a local martial arts academy and social media coordinator for several family businesses.
Tanner is always looking for his next project, willing to take on any kind of challenge; he does not limit himself to one specific facet of photography or videography. With his love for story telling and passion for compelling imagery and adventure there is no telling what kind of images he will produce next, the only certainty is that he will continue to grow as a creative through his desire to learn and collaborate.
Oh and we forgot to mention his passion for tacos, he is very passionate about tacos.
